Botox treating depression!

For some time now evidence has been emerging of the positive effect that botox injections into the glabella has on depression. The largest of these studies showed that 52% of subjects suffering from moderate to severe depression showed relief from depression after injections of Botox to the glabellar area between the eyes, compared with only 15% of those injected with a placebo. The reasons behind this are not properly understood yet but there is suggestion that when not frowning the patient feels better and more positive, people react differently to them and so the whole cycle of events is inerupted.
