Liquid Rhinoplasty

Why choose a Liquid Rhinoplasty?

Thanks to the Liquid Rhinoplasty, we now no longer have to undergo surgery to change the appearance of our nose!

Many people have bumps and dips along their nose when viewed from the side but don’t want to undergo extensive surgery or worry about the cost of such a procedure. With carefully placed dermal filler it is simple to correct these areas in one procedure and let people see what their nose would look like corrected.

Whether it is a previous injury, genetic, or a simple dislike of your nose shape, fillers are a quick and easy solution that will also allow you to see what your nose would look like if one day you opted for surgery. Before starting the treatment we will take several photos from different angles and then discuss the issues that you want to correct so that we fully understand what you are trying to achieve, as everybody has a different defect and end result aim. It is important to us to individualise the treatment.

What is clear from Dr. Renée’s vast experience using hyaluronic acid fillers for nose straightening is that the effect lasts no more than around 6-9 months. One solution is that the first time you have the treatment you do so with a hyaluronic acid filler to ensure you like the end result. After this you could consider an Ellanse product which lasts for 2 years. Dr. Renée will discuss this with you at your consultation.

What issues can be fixed using Non Surgical Rhinoplasty?

  • Nasal hump
  • Hook nose
  • Downturned tip
  • Asymmetry from sports injury or other cause
  • A need for the nose to be more masculine or feminine

How does the treatment work?

Dermal filler is injected into the treatment area using a small needle. Dr Renée will then massage and mould it into place as needed to create your desired result.

What filler is used?

The first time you have treatment we will use a hyaluronic acid filler from Restylane. Dr Renée usually uses Restylane Lyft for its cohesivity and hold which she finds is needed for this area. All hyaluronic acid products can be dissolved.

After this we can use a product called Ellanse which has longer lasting results but which is not a hyaluronic acid filler.

How long does the procedure take?

Liquid rhinoplasty is a fairly quick procedure to carry out; around 15-20 minutes.

Are there any side effects?

There will be some mild swelling and redness and very occasional bruising.

There is no downtime with this treatment so you can carry on your day as normal afterwards.

When will I see results?

Results are immediate.

How long do results last?

Around 6-9 months with a hyaluronic acid filler and 2 years with an Ellanse product.

All results vary between patients.
